First Visit, Adult

Routine Dental Examination

The skilled dental team has reserved 90 minutes for you in order to properly evaluate your dental health.

Dental Evaluation
During your first visit a thorough and comprehensive examination, including a visual oral cancer screening, evaluation of your teeth, and evaluation of your gum tissues. We will gather all necessary records, which may include a full series of radiographs (x-rays) and models. All information that we obtain will be carefully evaluated so that we can customize a treatment plan in order to meet your individual needs.

Preventive Oral Hygiene Treatment
At your first visit, you may receive a dental cleaning. We consider this session to be one of the most valuable services we can provide to you. At this time, we will personalize your home care to maintain the health of your teeth and gums. A beautiful smile begins with a healthy mouth.

Please note that if it has been more than one year since your last dental cleaning, your treatment needs may be more extensive. If this is the case, your treatment options will be discussed and a subsequent appointment will be scheduled.

Plan for Treatment
After visiting with our dental team our Treatment Coordinator will present your treatment plan, taking your immediate needs as well as your long term objectives into consideration. We will always recommend the best treatment individualized for you. Where there are choices, we are happy to discuss options. Our goal is the help you keep your teeth for a lifetime. Our treatment recommendation will be based on maximizing the life of your teeth. Following a discussion of your treatment plan, our Treatment Coordinator will help you schedule all recommended appointments.
